Case Details

Flour milling machines are essential equipment in the food processing industry, primarily used for grinding and separating raw materials to convert them into fine, uniform powders, thereby meeting the production needs for flour, starch, and other powdered materials in the food sector.

Due to grinding wear in flour processing machinery and the grinding that occurs during roller reprocessing, the grinding layer continuously thins. As a result, the rollers have a limited service life, with those designed for high material crushing capabilities experiencing relatively shorter lifespans.

Solution: Our company enhances the surface of flour mill rollers primarily using supersonic spraying technology to apply tungsten carbide coatings. The coating thickness can reach 0.01-0.04 mm, with a hardness of ≥ HV1200, effectively improving surface performance and making the rollers more wear-resistant and durable.

After the spraying process, the lifespan of the rollers is several times that of the original cast alloy roller technology, significantly increasing equipment longevity, greatly reducing downtime, and saving production and maintenance costs for enterprises.
